ABOUT US

Southdown Events has been a long time in the making. We had always had a vision of setting up an events hire company focused around weddings but finally took the plunge when we purchased a run down vintage caravan to convert into a photo booth. But we couldn't stop there.

 

Whilst in the midst of transforming the caravan we began purchasing and making other items to hire out for events too. Oh! And did we mention, we also got engaged ourselves in March 2020 so have our own wedding to plan! This put us in a great position to imagine what we would want to have at our wedding (in the hope that others might too)!

Why choose us?

We know what its like to plan any kind of event. The never ending 'to-do' list, the checking and (double checking) that everything has been ordered and everyone contacted, the sleepless nights worrying if it's all going to go 'okay'. That's why we want to take just one small piece of stress away.

 

From the moment you contact us, we handle everything in relation to your hire package. We can contact venues on your behalf to make arrangements, we deliver and set up everything at a time that's convenient with you, we respond to your questions day or night and know that each event is unique so we constantly add to our range of services on offer. We have a keen eye for detail and will only supply products that we would be happy to have ourselves.
